Mario Grillo e Famiglia
Camigliatello Sila, Calabria, Italy
Fattoria Biò is an organic farm born from the experience of four generations of the Grillo family. The name Fattoria Biò expresses the synthesis of the "Philosophy of Tommaso Grillo", a passionate breeder and a point of reference for Calabrian sheep farming.
From the native Nero Di Calabria breed pigs it produces cured meats, to the Sila plateau, Lagarò, here it grows potatoes and wheat, vegetables, pastures for the herds. The company's products are of the highest quality and rare goodness, following the rules of the organic method, respecting nature and traditions.
The secret of everything is the land, which is respected, patiently waiting for the rotation of the land, using the manure of the herd to fertilize it; the rest of the work is done by nature, aided by an uncontaminated environment, by the water of the springs and by the cool climate in the summer, harsh in the winter.

Calabrian chili peppers, also known as peperoncino Calabrese, are a vibrant and spicy treasure from the Calabria region of Italy. These small, round, red peppers are known for their moderately spicy taste balanced with a bright, fruity flavor. They are versatile, often used fresh, dried, or preserved in oil or vinegar, and are a staple in Calabrian cuisine and beyond.
